In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 410), the author, Mary Baker Eddy, tells us that "every trial of our faith in God makes us stronger. The more difficult seems the material condition to be overcome by Spirit, the stronger should be our faith and the purer our love."
Eleven years ago, when everything seemed to be going all wrong, my mother suggested that I try Christian Science. Realizing the healing that she had received two years previously, when she was fully restored to perfect health after three physicians had given up all hope of her recovery, I turned to Christian Science. I shall never forget the difference I felt after attending my first Sunday service. I knew that I had found the solution for all my ills.
I was almost instantaneously healed of chronic indigestion and dyspepsia from which I had suffered many years. I was also healed of smoking, my financial condition was changed for the better, and most inharmonious conditions in the home were eliminated. I have been healed of grief, when a dear one passed on.
