For over eighteen years Christian Science has been my only physician, and during that time I have had numerous physical healings, some of them practically instantaneous, while others extended over a considerable period. Among other healings I might mention those of indigestion, chronic constipation, influenza, ptomaine poisoning, the tobacco habit in its worst form, and the desire for alcoholic drinks. The healing of a nervous trouble stands out prominently in my memory.

For many years before knowing anything of Christian Science I had been a sufferer and had visited specialists in this country and in Europe, but the only consolation they could offer me was that while the trouble was incurable, it was not necessarily fatal. I am very grateful to state that this condition has been entirely healed through the study and application of the teachings of Christian Science.

Before coming into Christian Science I had never followed any particular creed or religion, nor had I been a regular attendant at any church since I was a young boy; and I had formed somewhat hazy ideas about heaven and the Supreme Being. When this wonderful truth was presented to me, and as it began gradually to unfold, I knew that I had found what I had long been looking for, a religion which meets our every need.
