Daily I strive to express my gratitude for the many healings and blessings received through Christian Science. When one whose only knowledge of this Science was that it heals through prayer urged me to try it for an illness, I felt that I wanted to learn something about it; and when a copy of the textbook was given to me, I was very grateful, for in it were answered many questions which to me, until this time, had remained unanswered.

I am grateful that through the study of the Bible and Science and Health we are able, according to our understanding, to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, the Way-shower, thus bringing into our lives the manifestation of the blessings which God has bestowed upon His children. For membership in The Mother Church I express gratitude, also for the many channels established by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, through which the healing truth is ceaselessly flowing. My daily prayer is for wisdom and understanding to reflect the one infinite divine Mind, and so to do the will of our Father-Mother God.

I am grateful that God's omnipotence and omnipresence have been proved for me and for those in our household many times through physical and financial healings. My daughter suffered from severe indigestion for almost two years, obtaining no relief from material remedies or rigid dieting, but she was healed of this trouble in one Christian Science treatment.
