It is with a feeling of deep gratitude that I wish to tell of a healing I had a year ago; and I hope it may be of some benefit to others.

For about three months I had been troubled with a soft corn on one of my toes. As it was on the lower side of my foot, walking was very difficult, in spite of the fact that I was wearing a very wide shoe. I hesitated about seeing a practitioner for this trouble as it seemed so small; but as the corn continued to grow larger, and was very painful, I did see a practitioner. Help was lovingly given, but the condition did not yield immediately. At times the pain seemed unbearable, and I was unable to keep a shoe on the foot. However, we looked beyond material conditions and realized that man in God's image could reflect and manifest nothing but good. The healing came slowly, and at times error voiced discouragement; but God's perfect model was ever kept in thought, and the healing was complete.

Because this healing came slowly, it meant continual striving on my part to learn more of the truth and to demonstrate it. I learned in some measure through it that "with God all things are possible." This healing is but one of many blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science, and I can best express my gratitude by living in accordance with the teachings of the Master.
