A few years ago I was in bed, ill, and a great disbeliever in what I thought Christian Science to be. I had been a semi-invalid for ten years, and doctors and specialists had given me up. I had almost reached the conclusion that there was nothing left for me, and that I would end it all. I was healed through Christian Science, and the healing has been permanent.
We are learning every day that Christian Science is the Christ Science, the Comforter that Jesus promised during his time with us. Christian Science is by far the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life, and it seems as if those links of iron with which I was bound had dropped off and that I now stand free to do God's bidding.
We are learning why the things we have been doing mentally have been failures. We trusted too much in so-called human will and did not allow God to show through us His great abundance of love, which each and every one has the power to reflect.
