Since taking up the study of Christian Science more than...
Since taking up the study of Christian Science more than six years ago I have had many proofs of its wonderful healing power. Instead of being always in a state of ill health, I am now a healthy, active woman. Christian Science has given me God, who is a sure and ever present help; and the Bible can now be read with some measure of understanding. During a time of great trouble, church membership came to me, bringing with it a wonderful feeling of security and of being firmly held; for which I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude.
A few years ago two little grandchildren came into my charge. Since then it has been my great privilege to see many beautiful healings. Among others, a badly crushed hand was healed in less than an hour, and a very serious condition of the ears was overcome without an operation or after effects. It is a source of great joy to see these children so receptive to the truth and applying it for themselves. One day my little grandson, at that time not five years old, called out as if in pain. He explained that he had fallen and "hurted" himself and was going to cry, but had said his prayer instead and was quite well. The simple faith of a little child is a revelation.
For the Sunday school and for the loving help that has been given to me during these years I am most grateful.
