In "Pulse of the Public," under the heading, "Making it Plain," a writer commenting upon another matter, implies that the use of the term Christian Science has nothing to do with the actual meaning of the words "Christian" and "Science." The religion of Christian Science, being based on the teachings of Christ Jesus, justifies the use of the word "Christian," in properly designating its character. When it is more generally understood that the Master performed his mighty works in accordance with, and never in contravention of spiritual and primal law, it will be recognized that he was preeminently not only the greatest of all scientists, but that he employed the greatest of all sciences, the Science of divine Mind. Manifestly, then, the employment of the word "Science," as well as the word "Christian," is appropriate and descriptive in designating a religion, the teaching of which, in the proportion that it is understood, enables its followers to demonstrate the Science by which Christ Jesus performed his immortal works.
