is a word frequently used in Christian Science; and to those just beginning to perceive the wonderful truths contained in this Science, it may sometimes seem a little difficult to understand.
To
the one newly interested in the teachings of Christian Science, the thought of his spiritual self as being the real, and indeed the only self he has, the teaching that instead of living in a material body he lives in Soul, Mind, God, and receives from his divine source the power to govern harmoniously his body and all that he has thought of as his very existence, may seem hard to understand.
Surely
one of the most subtle and discouraging suggestions that can come to one in his journey heavenward is that he has been trapped, placed in circumstances from which there is no way of escape, no way out.
