I am grateful for the healing of physical suffering

I am grateful for the healing of physical suffering. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 460) Mrs. Eddy says: "Our system of Mind-healing rests on the apprehension of the nature and essence of all being,—on the divine Mind and Love's essential qualities. Its pharmacy is moral, and its medicine is intellectual and spiritual, though used for physical healing."

I was under the constant care of physicians for fourteen years. Part of the time I wore a steel brace around my body, with headgear. This was replaced by a plaster cast and headgear, which I wore for seven years. At this period, seventeen years ago, the medical profession could do nothing more for me, and I was left with a deformed body, general debility, consumption, and paralysis. Then came Christian Science to heal this uncomfortable condition. The consumption and paralysis have been completely healed, and the structure is entirely changed. This evidence assures complete healing. I have been enabled to earn my own living, and am so happy to be useful, and not a helpless burden.

I am very grateful for the Christian Science lectures and for class instruction; also for the Sunday school, where I received my first instruction, and for the Christian Science organization, which Mrs. Eddy so lovingly worked out for us.
