I did not come to Christian Science for physical healing, but to know more of the truth. That "man's extremity is God's opportunity," I have proved true in the last eight years of my study of Christian Science. Seven years ago on Thanksgiving Day I was taken ill with influenza. After two Christian Science treatments I was entirely free. This was a revelation to me of the efficacy of Christian Science to heal. I was also healed of eye trouble in one treatment, after wearing glasses for nearly twelve years.

I have experienced many other healings, for which I am deeply grateful. I am thankful to God, to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to all who have so lovingly helped me along the way. I am most grateful for all of Mrs. Eddy's writings, for all of the Christian Science literature, and for class instruction.
