I am happy to be able to speak of the numerous blessings and healings obtained through Christian Science. The absolute efficacy of right thoughts, based on divine Mind, has been so clearly and so forcibly proved in my family that it is with joy and gratitude I offer my share of testimony.

For several years I suffered from headaches. These were violent sick headaches which tortured me almost every day. I had become morose and neurasthenic. This condition of health troubled me a great deal; for often I had to postpone till the next day what should have been done that very day. During the war, I was put in touch with a specialist—not a physician—who put his patients on a diet of fruit. After examining me by auscultation, he declared I was completely poisoned by the misuse of meat and tobacco. He also told me that my case was serious, and that the healing would be slow. The next day I started the fruit diet. At the end of two months and a half my difficulties had lessened, but at the expense of my physical strength. I had lost twenty-two pounds in weight.

Three months later, when I had grown quite thin and was still in bondage to this diet, I had the joy of learning of Christian Science, which wrought for me complete and positive healing, not only of the headaches, but also of chronic pharyngitis, of inflammation of the eyes, of rheumatism, and so on. With the help of a faithful practitioner, to whom I express my deep gratitude, my health has been restored.
