I have been a student of Christian Science for about twenty years, during which time I have had numerous healings of various kinds. Before becoming interested in this beautiful truth, our home was like an apothecary's shop. Through my mother's healing, all of this so-called shop was

destroyed. To me this meant great joy; for as a child I had been in bondage to throat trouble. Each winter I would be absent from school two or three times during the term for a period of two weeks each time. I am happy to say that through the loving help of a dear Christian Science practitioner I was healed. When I entered school the next year, the physician found my throat in a perfectly normal condition. Among other ills of which I have been healed are typhoid-malaria, ptomaine poisoning, pink eye, stomach trouble, and influenza.

While I am greatful for the physical healings, I am more grateful still for the spiritual uplift; also grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to Mrs. Eddy for giving to this age this wonderful truth. I have had the blessing of being taught in a Christian Science Sunday School, as well as of being a member of The Mother Church and of branch church, where I am happy to have the privilege of serving. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for all the blessings that Christian Science has bestowed upon me. I am so grateful to the loving practitioners who have helped me. My one desire is that I may live this blessed truth more each day, and by so living help others to the light.
