World-Herald
Christian Science corrects the belief that its adherents have been drawn to it through any means other than the truth about divine Principle, God, from whom it proceeds. The exodus to Christian Science may in part be explained on the ground that the suffering and afflicted have failed to find health and peace through any material means. Beyond this reasoning, however, spiritual vision perceives the definite attraction of Spirit and the operation of divine law, regarding which Christ Jesus said: "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. ... And they shall be all taught of God."
Though Christian Science has been eminently successful in overcoming sin and disease, and its record engages the earnest attention of the thoughtful and needy on every hand, its chief attraction is in the love, the spirituality, it bestows. Those who, in unguarded moments, have yielded to temptation, the memory of which has torn their suffering hearts, and those who, seemingly engulfed in disease and terrorized by medical theories which deny God's eternal goodness, have been raised to peace, health, and holiness through Christian Science, give praise to the One "from whom all blessings flow."
