Several years have passed since, through God's guidance, the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was placed in my hands and I wish to be counted among those who have gratefully testified to the blessings received through Christian Science. After reading less than a page of the chapter on "Prayer" I was so impressed that I thanked God, for I knew that I had found that for which I had unconsciously yearned for a long time. Increased understanding was followed by the healing of a severe growth in my nose which had caused me much suffering and fear. I have also witnessed many wonderful healings for my two children, and have had the most beautiful proofs of God's inexhaustible love when all surrounding evidence seemed to be to the contrary.

For all this I am unspeakably grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the revelation of the truth through which such unlimited blessings have come to us. I also wish to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have so often and lovingly helped me. I am happy in the knowledge that all peoples can know God as eternal Truth, Life, and Love.—(Mrs.) Elisabeth Thoel, Berlin, Germany.
