For fourteen years I was unable to read ordinary print...
For fourteen years I was unable to read ordinary print without glasses, which by the order of three different oculists were worn constantly. They also told me that my eyes would never be any better. Six months after beginning the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the understanding that sight is spiritual came to me so clearly as to free me from the sense of imperfect vision, and my glasses were discarded. That was several years ago and I can now read fine print without difficulty. Smoking was a particular god for many years but all desire for it disappeared several years ago as the result of the study of Christian Science. Headaches, colds, an ulcerated tooth, sore throat, and many other inharmonies have been speedily overcome through the application of my understanding of this truth which heals and liberates mankind.
For these blessings I am deeply thankful, but no words can express my gratitude for the love, happiness, and sense of at-one-ment with our Father-Mother God which Christian Science has brought to me.
