"He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it...
"He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." I wish to express my gratitude for the many benefits I have received through the understanding gained from the study of Christian Science, for through this study I sought and have found health, happiness, and peace.
I was ill with a severe nervous trouble and went to a Christian Science practitioner for help. Although the trouble was not immediately destroyed I can rejoice, for during the time I was having treatment I gained a great deal of understanding and when I was finally healed physically I had the joy of knowing that I had also advanced along the road from matter to Spirit. Christian Science has also been a wonderful help to me in my voice lessons, for it has helped me to overcome timidity. When I began this study I seemingly had very little voice but I have for several years been enabled to fill positions as a church soloist. I have also been healed of mumps, the grip, severe pains in the back and abdomen, sorrow, and many other things.
I wish to tell of a demonstration of protection. With some other Christian Scientists I was on my way home from a church meeting one night in an electric coupé. As we crossed the bridge the car caught in some sand on the side of the bridge which had been washed out and newly filled in. The next moment we were riding over the side of the bridge down the embankment, about twenty feet. There were three people in the car. We declared the truth and all of a sudden the car stopped; no one was hurt, and there wasn't a scratch on the car nor any glass broken. Many people came to help us and all through the village great surprise was expressed that we were unharmed. It was just another proof of the reign of God's harmonious, perfect law.
