After using material means for many months without receiving any benefit, I was healed through Christian Science of bowel trouble resulting from typhoid fever. I had had the services of three physicians, one of whom was a specialist. All agreed that there was nothing more to be done but to perform an operation. By this time, having had no relief from material medicine, I had no faith in it, and through the wishes of my mother and a loving Christian Science friend I decided to give Christian Science a fair trial, although I did not believe it could help any one in my condition. Needless to say it has met my every need and I am enjoying perfect health to-day. I was cured in about three weeks by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, having had only one treatment. This healing took place several years ago and I have never had a return of the trouble, proving that Truth does heal permanently. While the physical healings mean a great deal, yet I am more grateful for the changed mental outlook that has come to me through the understanding of Christian Science. Words fail to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for her writings and for the periodicals. I am also grateful for membership in The Mother Church.—(Mrs.) Minnie Choisser, Turlock, California.
