It is now many years since my first healing in Christian Science, which came to me while attending a Wednesday evening meeting. When I went to that service I knew nothing of the teachings of Christian Science but was healed of a physical trouble that the doctor had pronounced incurable. Since that time the truth has been my only medicine.

A few months ago I had a severely sprained ankle. This happened at six o'clock in the evening and by nine the pain was so intense I could not touch my foot to the floor. Through the realization of the allness of Spirit and the nothingness of matter and pain, I fell asleep and when morning came the pain was gone. I arose as usual, walked five blocks to my place of business, and was on my feet constantly all day. The ankle was perfectly normal. With this healing came a wonderful sense of gratitude and a clearer sense of God's ever presence and love. I also wish to express my gratitude for the literature, especially The Christian Science Monitor, and I appreciate more and more Mrs. Eddy's wonderful wisdom in establishing the Christian Science periodicals.
