It has been my desire for some time to send a testimony to the Sentinel as an expression of gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. For ten years I suffered from stomach disorder, nervousness, sleeplessness, and other ailments. During this time I had tried many remedies, with only temporary relief. I am very grateful that all these troubles have been overcome through the study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; indeed, every discordant condition that has come up during the past six years has been overcome by this truth.

I would like to tell of a beautiful demonstration that occurred recently. Last Thanksgiving morning we read in our home paper that it was reported our boy had been killed in action in France. At first I allowed fear to creep in. All day I declared the truth, and the next morning while doing my work the thought came to me very clearly that my boy was safe. All fear left me. A short time after that we received word from our son saying that he had been in some dangerous places, but was all right.

One day while cleaning house I stepped on a rusty nail. I immediately declared the truth, knowing there are no accidents in divine Mind, and did not removed my shoe until I was going to bed. During the night I awoke in great pain, but in a short time I was asleep, and the next morning the pain was gone. In a few days my foot was well. A few years ago I got some lime in my eye. All day the eye pained and was much inflamed, but I held steadfastly to the truth, and in the morning the pain was gone, nor could one tell which eye had been affected. Burns and toothache, too, have been instantaneously healed.
