I have been studying Christian Science for only two years, but my blessings are so numerous I can hardly count them. I was extremely nervous and would sit up very late every night, afraid to go to bed because of smothering spells, as the doctor called them. I had been afflicted with bowel trouble since childhood and suffered severly from headaches. All this was entirely overcome by the earnest study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, along with the Bible. The birth of our little girl was painless. I was all alone, the nurse having gone to a neighbor's house to telephone to the practitioner, but I knew that God in our salvation, and I was perfectly sustained. At the end of a week I resumed all my household duties, including the laundry work. I am indeed grateful for the physical healing, but more than all else Christian Science is teaching me to know God and His perfect creation and to be a more loving, patient mother and wife.
