I wish to witness to the help which Christian Science has brought me. I was cured of an abnormal growth, from which I had suffered for seven years, also of fever and headache. A short time ago the words of our Leader, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494), were made very plain to me. I retired at night feeling as well as usual, but about two hours later I awoke with a high fever and was in great pain, so that I could not even make a light. I vomited frequently, continuing to do so all night, and when dawn came I was startled to find I had been vomiting blood. I was entirely alone, and when my servant-boy came at about seven o'clock, he was so frightened that he ran for two native women, and they sent for a doctor; but I refused to take any medicine. I have a Christian Science friend at Huigra, one hundred and fifty miles from here, to whom I sent a message asking for help, and as soon as the message was received I was healed; the pain left, the vomiting ceased, and I went to sleep. By four o'clock in the afternoon I was up, and the boy and the two women were surprised to see me about as if nothing had happened. Truly it was nothing to God's idea, as had been proved with the help of my friend.

I am thankful to God for Christian Science, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way out of human ills.
