I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science and our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, the author of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," hoping that some one in need may see these lines and take heart. Sickness and disease, as well as sin, fall before Christian Science through the application of the truth and the understanding of its practitioners.

I am studying daily to understand more of this truth, that I may be able to apply it to the problems of life in the case of others, as well as for myself and in my own home, for we know it is true and are sure it is the same truth taught by Jesus the Wayshower, because it bears the same fruits. My first healing was of a throat affection, of which I formerly had about three acute attacks every year. It has been six years now since I have felt it, so I know it is permanently overcome. I was also healed of granulated eyelids. Stomach trouble, which I have had for over thirty years, has been greatly relieved. I am sure that I shall be permanently healed of this when all fear is destroyed. My health is better than it has been for twenty years.

Our baby was healed of acute lung trouble and bowel disorder in its worst form. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and the child was healed in four days. For these healings we are very thankful, and there have been many more blessings received besides those of which I have told. Having the fruits which Jesus said would "follow them that believe," we are satisfied, and are very happy even with our slight knowledge of Christian Science.
