I esteem it a duty as well as a privilege to tell others what Christian Science has done for me. I have been healed of a very bad case of catarrh, and of extremely severe headaches accompanied by nausea, which would last two or three days and which were becoming more and more frequent. I was also threatened with loss of memory, till it seemed as though I should die or become insane, which was what I feared most. I wish to speak of another healing which came to me later. A few years ago it seemed necessary to have all my teeth extracted, and as I always had such extreme fear of dentistry, I called on a Christian Science practitioner for help, with the result that I had nine teeth extracted at one sitting and fourteen at another without either pain or fear. By the study of the Bible and Science and Health, also the Lesson-Sermon, I have been able to overcome colds, burns, etc., and to help others to some extent.

In July, 1910, I had a very severe attack of erysipelas, and felt it wise to ask for help. I began to mend as soon as the practitioner received my letter, and in twenty-four hours all traces of the disease were gone. I had had attacks no more severe than this one, and suffered terribly for weeks. At another time I was healed in two days of acute illness, accompanied by a bad bowel trouble. This was in April, 1911. I know that as I put into practise what I have already learned I shall more and more attain to that Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." I give thanks to God and am grateful to our beloved Leader for what Christian Science has done for me.
