I, too, would express my thankfulness to God for the many blessings it has been my privilege to enjoy since Christian Science has become my daily study. Truth has healed me of many ills, some seemingly serious; a heart trouble and a stomach disorder which were to be "mine" for life according to predictions; also lead-poisoning which was supposed never to leave my system. In addition to these ailments I indulged in a sense of criticism, hatred, and revenge.

In Christian Science I was separated from these beliefs, but not very quickly; it took what seemed to me a very long time, for I had to learn how to solve these problems by subtracting from my consciousness a little hatred each day, adding much love, deducting from it a goodly percentage of revenge, plus truth and minus criticism, multiplied by gratitude,—and so I am learning day by day the lesson of the golden rule. Christian Science has also done everything for me in a business and financial way.

I am grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all who so lovingly and with so much patience have helped me to gain entrance to the straight and narrow way of Truth.—L. A. Pereira, Chicago, Ill.
