I can testify to having been healed over two years ago through Christian Science treatment. I had not walked for three years except by the use of a crutch and cane, then two crutches. I also had a wheel-chair in which I was taken out on the street. Previous to this time I had been lame, but did not use crutches. It was then proposed to me, through my daughter, who lived in Chicago, that I come there, and that perhaps Christian Science would do me some good. So I went, and at the first treatment I was helped so much that I walked without the crutches, and I have never used them since. I also disposed of the chair. I was treated for about nine weeks, then came home, and since that time have had no trouble in walking.

It seemed to me, and to those who saw me after I came home, that my healing was a most wonderful thing, as I was much straighter and more erect than before. I have a great deal to be thankful for, and am truly grateful that through God Christian Science has accomplished so much for mankind.—Elizabeth B. Baird, Muscatine, Iowa.

In the fall of 1908, my mother (whose testimony is given herewith) was at my home, under Christian Science treatment. During this time I listened with much interest as the practitioner explained this great truth to her, and I thereby gained a little understanding of Christian Science. I read the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and it was not very long before I found that I was healed of an eye trouble for which I had worn glasses for about thirteen years. The following winter my husband was treated by the same practitioner, and was healed of a very severe throat trouble, of which there has been no return whatever. I am very grateful for these healings, and for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought and is bringing to me.
