I thank God for the many healings I have had through Christian Science. Since I was nineteen years old I had suffered terribly with a pain in my back. I was treated by several specialists, tried various liniments, plasters, etc., but derived no benefit. Some time ago I met a lady who is a Christian Scientist, and I told her I was suffering from a general breakdown. I also asked her to give me a treatment, which she did; and since that time the lameness in my back has entirely disappeared. I am now in my sixty-eighth year, and since I was nineteen there never has been a day in which I could say I was entirely free from pain until I came to Christian Science for help. Since then, I am thankful to say, I have not felt the slightest symptom of the return of the pain.

Daily I thank God for having given us our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has followed Christ in the way of banishing all suffering, sickness, and sorrow.
