Christian Science has done and is doing so much for me that I feel I should give expression to my gratitude. When I came into Science, over three years ago, I was completely discouraged. I was weak physically, had been so since the birth of my son nine months previous, and each day I seemed to be undertaking more than I was equal to. It also seemed as if I never again would have peace and rest on earth, but thanks to Christian Science a new light has dawned.

From the first of my study I began to feel free, knowing that I had strength enough to do all that was required of me. Before, I had dreaded the coming of each day, but now I am glad to work out little by little this beautiful truth, and I find it a most practical help. It is a great inspiration to know that there is a perfect divine Principle, and to know man as the idea of this Principle. As we do this it becomes easy to separate error from the individual, either as sin or sickness, for we cannot conceive of Principle being less than perfect. In reasoning from this basis I have been able to destroy a sense of hatred which had caused me much unhappiness. I know now that "divine Life destroys death, Truth destroys error, and Love destroys hate" (Science and Health, p. 339).

I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this truth, and I deeply appreciate the first line of the Preface in Science and Health: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings."
