I had used tobacco for a number of years, and had several times made the attempt to give it up, but without success. I am a railroad man, and one day the engineer on the engine I was firing said to me, as he saw me using the weed, that it was a habit I should give up. This engineer was a Christian Scientist, and from that day I have never used tobacco in any form. The desire for it simply left me. I cannot express my gratefulness to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for this helpful truth and for what it has done for me.
