My attention was first called to Christian Science through the healing of a cousin. She wished me to try it, but I had very little faith when I first began to read Science and Health. As I kept on studying it, however, my faith increased; I knew I had at last found the right remedy for disease. I was very much benefited by the reading, but as I was not able to overcome my ailments as I thought I should, I wrote to a practitioner, who gave me treatment. I am now healed of catarrhal and asthmatic trouble in its worst forms. Several doctors had said I would never be cured, as there was no known remedy for such a case as mine. My friends said they thought I might as well give up trying to get cured. At the time I began studying Science I had never known a day when I could say I was well. Now I can truly say I am so. Life has a bright, happy outlook for me now, whereas before coming into Science I had nothing but suffering to look forward to. I never will be able to pay for all that Christian Science has done for me. I hope, through the blessed truth taught in Science and Health, to keep ever in the right way.
