I shall never be able to express in words my deep and...
I shall never be able to express in words my deep and sincere gratitude for all the benefits I have received from Christian Science. It is now nearly three years since I first heard of it. For two years previous I had been unable to keep at work, although I tried almost every material remedy, but without any permanent relief. With an awful dread of again failing to keep well, I came to London to try some light work. I went to the house of a Christian Scientist, and the first evening there I was healed of bowel trouble and another ailment. A few days later I was taken to a Wednesday evening meeting at First Church of Christ, Scientist. The great joy and peace that came to me during that meeting was very beautiful, and I knew Christian Science was the truth. Gradually all my other troubles, among which were severe headaches and weakness, entirely disappeared. Since then I have kept at work and never before felt so well or so happy. The healing work was done without treatment, and what I consider the most convincing proof is that although previous to coming to London I had lived in a beautiful country place, and had every advantage from a material point of view, I never could keep strong enough to work; yet when I came to London, where I had many disadvantages, I was healed, and have kept well ever since, the healing really dating from the first night. I felt at once on entering the Scientist's home the wonderful change in the atmosphere.
I am deeply grateful to God for the physical healing, also for the spiritual uplifting. Christian Science has helped me to live a better life, brought me out of great bitterness, and taught me how to love others. I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, and thankful to God for being so lovingly helped to understand more of this beautiful truth.—Rose Rowett, London, England.
