When I first heard of Christian Science my companions were bottles, pills, and powders. Wherever I went these went with me. I even took medicine because I was afraid I would be sick and could not perform my duties in the schoolroom. How happy I was when I was able to pack my trunk and have not a material remedy in it, but in their place the Bible, Science and Health, and the Christian Science Quarterly. To these I have gone for aid in all kinds of discord. The blessings that have come to me through Christian Science are many. I have been healed of catarrh, chronic throat trouble, and many other diseases, also of the great fear of taking cold. Not only have these physical ailments disappeared, but in times of sorrow or trouble the way has been clearer, the trials of every day have been made lighter, and business problems have been adjusted. Never has Christian Science failed to bring help and comfort.—Laura Myers, Chicago, Ill.
