San Francisco, Cal.
[The following card has been received from our San Francisco brethren and we are glad to give it space in our columns. We understand that the money so lovingly contributed by the Christian Scientists throughout the country has proved sufficient for the immediate needs of these brethren and they are now becoming re-established in their homes and in their work.—Editor.]
Dear Brethren:—The Board of Directors of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in San Francisco, California, wish to express to the dear co-workers throughout the Field, their deep appreciation of the sympathy and love which prompted the word of hope and encouragement, as well as financial aid, sent us in our hour of need.
Through the substantial help received we have been enabled to assist many of the members of our church and congregation to re-establish themselves, and we will continue our work with stronger courage and greater faith in, and a more abiding knowledge of, the ever-active working of divine Love, supplying human needs.
By order of the Board of Directors,
Thomas H. Lord, Clerk.
