I desire to make a public acknowledgment of the benefits I have received through Christian Science. I was healed three years ago last June. I was a great sufferer for about a year, with pain in my back, extending down through the left groin, which after six months developed into internal hemorrhages, and a general breakdown followed. I employed several of the best doctors I could get in New York, and was told that I had better close my business; that I would not be here in six weeks, perhaps not four, possibly not two. About this time a copy of Science and Health was loaned me, and my wife was invited to attend the Wednesday evening meeting at First Church of Christ, Scientist, New York City. When she returned she said that I had better try to attend the next Wednesday evening, and I did. Soon after, my wife made an appointment for me with a practitioner. In three treatments I was healed. From that day to this I have never had one sign or symptom of the trouble, and have been restored to good health. I am grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy.
