I should like to tell of the healing of our boy in Christian Science
I should like to tell of the healing of our boy in Christian Science. At the age of two years he had a disease known as tuberculosis of the bone in his knee. We had him under the care of doctors for three long years, and during that time his sufferings were terrible day and night. One day the doctor told us that his leg would have to be amputated, for he could not live two months in that condition. As he said the boy was "very low," and he would give no assurance that the child would stand the operation, we decided not to have it done.
We had heard something of Christian Science but did not know what it meant, so we called in a practitioner, and after he had told us what Christian Science had done for his wife and children, also for himself, and what it could do for us, we had him treat the child. After the first treatment the child slept all night, which he had not done in months. In one week's treatment he was relieved from all pain. Later we moved to this city, and the boy seemed to grow much worse, his leg being badly drawn up, and an abscess formed which caused intense suffering. We again called a practitioner and the case improved from that on. The boy is now ten years old, and a perfectly healthy, happy child. For this most wonderful proof of what Christian Science can do, we are very grateful, and glad to add our testimony to its healing power.
