It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give my testimony of the healing power of Truth and Love, revealed in Christian Science. A little more than three years ago I was a great sufferer from nervousness and a general breakingdown of the system, caused from overwork and close confinement in an office. My physician told me that the best thing for me to do would be to go to another climate and have a complete rest. I was then taking three or four different kinds of medicine and there were more to follow as soon as I was strong enough. At this time a Christian Scientist called at our home and suggested that I try this treatment. It did not then appeal to me, but the seed was sown, and came up after a time. I was very despondent over the prospect of going away from my home to another climate, alone and sick, when my husband suggested that

I try this Science. The only restriction was that if I were healed I should drop it and have nothing more to do with it. Upon his seeing the great benefit it brought to me, however, I was not even asked to give it up. In a few days after taking treatment, I commenced to improve steadily, and in a short time I was healed. Since then I have had many beautiful demonstrations over various ailments, such as neuralgia, severe colds, throat trouble, etc.

The Science of Christianity has taught me that God is an ever-present help in time of trouble, if we but trust in Him. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for what she has done for suffering humanity.
