The Lectures

A large and interested audience greeted Hon. William G. Ewing yesterday afternoon [March 6] at the Opera House. The speaker and his subject, "Christian Science, a Religion of Works," have both been given considerable publicity through the newspapers for several weeks past, and a great many presented themselves no doubt from an innate desire to learn.

Rev. J. H. Jones of the Unitarian Church introduced the speaker.—The Journal-Press.
