We
feel sure that our readers, many of whom have learned of Christian Science only within the past few years, will thank our friend who has preserved the following newspaper clipping giving the facts in connection with our beloved Leader's address at Central Music Hall, Chicago, in 1888.
The
spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer as found in Science and Health gives one a desire so to live Christian Science that others will be attracted to it for its practical value.
It may be a surprise to many who are in the habit of conversing about disease to learn that this practice is detrimental to the person who indulges in it as well as to others, and to a much greater extent than most people suppose.
Christian Scientists are aware that their methods seem novel, and this because they have not yet been sufficiently studied to be understood, but this is not their fault.

case in which medical legislation has proved ineffective to prevent the practice of Christian Science is recorded in the following news item copied from The Cincinnati Enquirer:—
