About nine years ago I was healed by Christian Science
About nine years ago I was healed by Christian Science. I had been sick nearly two years, and although not confined to my bed all the time, I was not able to work. The doctors told me that it would be a long time before I could get well. Medicine did me no good. My sister, who was interested in Christian Science, induced me to try the treatment, and I wrote to a Scientist who treated me for a week. This healed me and I then wrote to her that I could get along without further help, when she advised me to get Science and Health and read it. Since my sister had one I used hers, but soon discontinued reading it. I was so well I thought I had all I needed. In a few years I was married, and when our first baby was born it passed away, and I was brought back to Science. Two children have come to us since, and had we accepted Christian Science from the first, it would have saved us much suffering. I have had some demonstrations with the children lately that have proved that God is ever-present and does not forget His children if they only obey.
