Judge Righteous Judgment
Brooklyn (N Y.) Eagle
Mr Editor.
My experience as a Christian Scientist has only tended to strengthen my respect for the rights of others to hold such opinions as may seem to them in accordance with their highest sense of what is right. If, therefore, I ask for space to answer Mr. Barry's criticisms of my letter, I wish it distinctly understood that I have no desire but to place before your readers the standpoint of a large and rapidly growing Christian body.
Mr. B. admits his ignorance of the fact that many children have been brought back from the verge of death by Christian Science treatment. This fact is known to a great number of earnest and intelligent persons. The weight of evidence put forth by them is so great that in attempting to deny it he would be assuming a burden of proof too heavy for him to bear.
