The Lectures
Simpson Auditorium was crowded to the limit of its capacity, while hundreds were unable to gain admission to hear the lecture by Judge William G. Ewing of Chicago on "Christian Science: Physician and Redeemer."
The lecturer was introduced by Judge John M. Miller of this city, who spoke as follows:—
A highly appreciated honor came to me when Second Church of Christ, Scientist, through its Lecture Committee, invited me to be present at this meeting, and introduce to you the speaker of the evening; and, fearing I may forget to do so later, I now beg to thank that body for the privilege accorded me.
