At Missoula, Mont.

Five years ago, a few loyal Scientists met and held services in a private room, moving into larger quarters from time to time, as the work demanded. October 16, 1901, First Church of Christ, Scientist, filed Articles of Incorporation, organizing with seventeen charter members. A new room was secured in the McHaffie Block, and very prettily and attractively furnished for church and reading room. We have an average attendance at Sunday service of forty, which is steadily increasing. Lectures have been delivered here by Dr. Sulcer and Judge Ewing, which were very helpful and greatly appreciated. Two copies of Science and Health, one "Miscellaneous Writings," and the Journal and Sentinel, have been placed in the public library. Science and Health and "Miscellaneous Writings" were also presented to The State University of Montana (the latter by the children of Sunday School). It is but meet to say that these dear little children, though few in number, are helping the older ones, not only contributing liberally to the furnishing of the new room, but by their regular attendance and loyalty.

Flora B. Carnahan, Clerk.
