We first heard of Christian Science six years ago. A gentleman who was a candidate for Representative stopped at our house one night, and I told him that my wife was suffering with a cancer. He recommended Christian Science, telling me that his son had been healed of consumption, and advised me to write to his son, adding that he would send me something to read regarding Christian Science. We wrote, and the literature came. From that time we began to think. We procured Science and Health, but we had treatment for my wife before she was healed.

The benefits we have received since that time in our family are too numerous to mention here. Through Mrs. Eddy's labor of love for us, we have been able to help others, both morally and physically.

I will relate a case of healing which occurred with our fifteen-year-old boy last spring. He was working out on a ranch and was taken with a severe form of typhoid fever accompanied with inflammation of the bowels. He was sent home on Friday about 6 a.m., and called for treatment.
