The Greater Works
Of late several clergymen have announced themselves as believers in the theory that greater healing works than those performed by Jesus are being accomplished through modern surgery and medicine. Among these is Bishop Lawrence of Massachusetts.
On Sabbath evening, January 19, last, the Bishop preached to Harvard students in Appleton Chapel upon the subject of Christ's prophecy that greater works than he had done should be accomplished. He is reported as having maintained that greater healing works are now being done through medical and surgical skill than Jesus ever did.
