I want to add my testimony to the many already given
I want to add my testimony to the many already given. I can say that Christian Science has helped me very much physically, morally, and spiritually. I was sceptical when I went to make inquiry regarding treatment; thought it was some new fad or craze, but having become pretty well discouraged by the poor results derived from the use of material remedies, so much so that I had about made up my mind that I would never use anything in the material line again, I decided to try Science. My healing, fortunately, has been slow; I say fortunately, because, had I been healed quickly (and that is what I was looking for when I sought treatment), it would have meant simply a return to the old life, and that old life was not a very good one, to put it mildly. I was looking for the physical wholly; never had an idea that I would ever become interested enough to recommend it to others. Had any one suggested a few years ago that I would ever become a member of the Christian Science Church, I think I should have called that one crazy! Truth has made a change.
I have been healed of what seemed to me a cart-load of ailments, I now feel better than I have felt for years, weigh about twenty pounds more than when I received my first treatment, and have been enjoying a peace of mind that, comparatively speaking, is remarkable.
It is about four years since I have discontinued the use of drugs or material remedies of any kind, having learned their uselessness. I find Science is something to be relied upon at all times.—WILLIAM BRANDT, Baltimore, Md.
