I have been wanting to tell for a long time what the power of Truth has done for me, for it has brought me out of the Slough of Despond, out of invalidism of many years' standing, out of the care of doctors who tried to be kind and helpful, out of the use of drugs and restoratives of all kinds, to a life of health and usefulness, such as I never could have realized as possible. It has brought me to see the Scriptures in a new and loving light. Many passages which seemed dark are now illumined. In fact, it would take many years to tell what Christian Science has done for me, and helped me to do for others. I cannot be grateful enough to dear Mrs. Eddy for bringing the light to my darkened life, darkened by illness, for my family and friends could not be kind enough to me. I have wondered at their patient love. I am thankful for Science and Health that brightens my pathway day by day, with its key to unlock the treasures of that Book of Books.—Lulie Deacon, Cambridge, Mass.
