Among the Churches
The blue sky and bright sunlight of yesterday made more attractive the opening service of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in their new rooms, Nos. 8 and 10 Lincoln Square.
The first impression upon entering was one of sunlight, beauty, and harmony, the rooms being decorated with palms and cut flowers, which, with the color scheme—a combination of green, gold, and brown,—was wondrously effective.
Upon the side walls are panels with the following inscriptions in gold letters, the one on the left being a quotation from Science and Health, by Mrs. Mary B.G. Eddy: "Divine Love always has met, and always will meet, every human need."
