Evidences of Growth
Having attended the Annual Meeting at the Mother Church in Boston, and partaken of the feast so bountifully prepared by our beloved Leader and Mother, we have returned to our field of labor refreshed and strengthened. We rejoice to say that burdens have been lightened, the pathway heavenward has been brightened, and we have gained a higher consciousness of the ever-present Love.
The harmony that prevailed throughout the meetings, shows great spiritual growth among the students of Christian Science. The battles of the past years have been many; but only the false sense of self has been wounded, something of the old man with his deeds put off, and more of the Christ-nature has been put on.
Christian Scientists are rapidly being acknowledged a healthful, peaceful, and Christian class of people. Does not the demonstration of harmony among Scientists prove the individual application of a perfect, impartial Principle, the Principle demonstrated by Jesus and his disciples in the destruction of all discord?
