Testimonial Meeting in Tremont Temple

Tremont Temple at the Wednesday evening meeting, June 6, was not only crowded as to every inch of seating and standing room, but there were several hundred who were unable to obtain entrance. To accommodate these an impromptu overflow meeting was held in one of the sub-halls. This hall was also well filled.

The meeting was opened by the singing of our Mother's hymn, "Shepherd, show me how to go," after which there was silent prayer and reading from the Scripture and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by the First Reader of the Mother Church. He then spoke substantially as follows:—

It has been a glorious experience to me, the annual meeting and communion at the Mother Church. It was a magnificent gathering. These hearts of love that have come to us from all sections of the country aid and encourage us and aid and encourage each other in this mighty work; and I know whereof I affirm when I say that never has there been such a manifestation of love as we have felt and witnessed throughout this entire season of communion, for the communion season, thank God, is still on, and will last forever.
