About ten years ago, I was instantaneously healed of typhoid fever by the reading of the preface in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

Later, when I was down in the very depths of despair, when my heart seemed to be crushed and torn and bleeding, until I was well-nigh unto death, I felt that could I only hear our blessed Mother speak, she would most surely comfort me. I took up "Retrospection and Introspection," and the first thing my eyes rested upon were these words on page 98, "Nothing except sin, in the students themselves, can separate them from me." Again, on page 39: "Early had I learned, that whatever is loved materially, as mere corporeal personality, is eventually lost." I read those two passages and re-read until I was answered. I was helped onward in this beautiful way through my experience, far beyond my dearest hope. I have been enabled to help others to know and understand Christian Science as never before.

With a heart filled to overflowing with gratitude I can testify that I am healed, not only physically, but mentally.
