The Lectures
A lecture was given last evening (Tuesday, December 19) by Judge William G. Ewing of Chicago, at Horticultural Hall, under the auspices of the Philadelphia Church of Christ, Scientist, on the subject, "Christian Science, the Religion of Jesus Christ." The large hall was nearly filled and the audience listened to the speaker with marked attention for nearly two hours.
John White, First Reader of the church, presided, and Carol Norton, a member of the International Board of Lectureship of Christian Science, introduced the speaker.
